Romance de la Noche 24" x 36"

This was the first of the series of large paintings in candle or lantern light.  It will always be special to me as it was the one that opened others eyes as to what I was about to embark on.  It was the first to be published, and the first to be seen in the media.  This piece took approximately 8 months of layer application.  The model is of Brazilian decent.
